Indian Wedding

We have many favorite ethnic weddings that we like to host, but Indian Weddings are probably one of favorite. Zameer and Shantali wanted a very traditional ceremony but a very elegant and posh look for the wedding. That is exactly what they had! B&G Photography (http://www.BandGphotography.com) captured the day. Thank you Jen for the great pictures and you guys were great to work with.

Purple is the new Brown

Aman and Sarita’s wanted their Indian wedding to be very different and that meant different color combination's.  Purple is the new brown from what we are seeing!  It is a very diverse color and definitely looks great for weddings.  They used high and low centerpieces with Manzanita’s being their tall ones.  Their head table had a very RoYaL look to it and had the WOW factor that they were looking for!

Partying and Eating all Nigth!

Ziba and Roozbeh’s wedding was all about food and partying! They had a beautiful Persian ceremony in our Newport Ballroom. Guests then proceeded for the cocktail hour where we had appetizers from around the globe. Roozbeh’s mom wanted to make sure that their guests to have tons of FUN and have lots of food. After the dinner it was PARTYING all night long.

Photo Booth + Cake Topper

Adam and Kristen wanted every detail of their wedding to be just right.  Kristen was definitely in tune with what’s hot!  Her party theme…black, white and red…the most highly requested colors of this season!  Of course she added her own style too….Kristen had always dreamed of having a photo booth at her wedding so that’s exactly what she got!  Kristen provided each guest with frames to display their photos in.  Cool party favor and a great way to remember the night forever.  Finally, Kristen topped off everything with a fabulous cake topper; we will let the picture speak for itself!

Love Inspires Creativity!

Rachel and Chris’ love not only inspired them to throw a fabulous wedding but this creative duo added a little touch of their love to everything. The couple’s personalized menus were a beautiful pearl white with a simple copper border which undoubtedly complimented their chocolate brown linens. Creating your own wedding invitations is not only allows you to share your love with your guests but also a great way to save money. It takes a little of time but if you do a great job like Rachel and Chris you can save a lot and be proud of your work.

He Proposed in Paris

Jevon had a plan and that was to take her beautiful bride Millecent to Paris and propose, that is exactly what he did.  To top it all off, he did it in front of the Eiffel Tower in the evening when all the sparkling lights light up the sky.  So to share all the memories with their guest, not only did Jevon have a video that he shared with the guests of the proposal but they also created an array of beautiful pictures from around France that were used as table numbers.  Very creative and different!

Peacock and Orange

Zack and Fetema’s engagement party was definitely one to remember.  They were very selective on choosing their colors so that it would be completely different from their wedding, which is scheduled at our venue in September.  Peacock and Orange were the final colors that they choose and it truly brought out our venue like never before.   The flowers were done by Square Root (www.Squarerootdesigns.com).

Nigerian Wedding

We had the opportunity to coordinate and host Toyin and Teddy’s wedding at the Vibiana in Los Angeles.  What a venue, an old eclectic church stripped and converted for special events and weddings.  The pictures definitely speak volumes for this unique and colorful event.    Toyin and Teddy are originally from Nigeria so we were able to bring out many of the traditional and beautiful colors from there.  The fabulous pictures were taken by Eric Cotter from Jim Kennedy Photographers (www.jimkennedyphotographers.com).  The flowers were done by the talented Alex Amidi from Square Root (www.squarerootdesigns.com) and the videography was done by Brian Press from Impressive Creations (www.impressivecreations.com).

Nigerian Wedding Continued...

In addition to having this wedding published in the very popular Ceremony Magazine, where we were featured, Impressive Creations also created an AWESOME 16 minute video detailing all the days events.  It takes a little while to download but definitely worth it.

Desserts, Desserts and More Desserts!

Traditional is romantic but if you unique is how you want to be remembered then take a tip from AliceAlice chose to forgo the traditional cake and create an elaborate dessert station for her guests.  Desserts, Dessert and More Desserts!!!!  Her guests were taken back by the eye catching chocolate fountain as they dipped Oreo cookies, strawberries and marshmallows in the cascading fountain.  Of courts let’s not forget the volcano cup cakes drizzled with layers of Carmel or the delectable mouth watering fruit tarts.  Guests couldn’t get enough!  We would highly recommend this to our guests in the future.  GREAT GOING ALICE!

Peacock and Red

A lighting Extravaganza is what we set Sarah up with for her big day! The place was decked with our favorite and most vibrant color combo Peacock Blue and Red. Of course, Sarah didn’t stop there…everything was color coordinated from the menu cards, party favors, napkins and chargers for the PERFECT look. The colors and lighting truly made the venue come out!

The Dynamic Duo!

An excited bride + a super mom = one fabulous wedding!  The dynamic duo worked together every step of the way, scheduling numerous meetings to make sure that the overall décor and menu selections completely met the bride and grooms tastes.  Ant taste was something they did not lack.  We had the room lit up with our new LED lights, which later were programmed to the music and the PARTY got started.  What a fun night!!!

Chocolate Brown and Green

Rowena and Brad were great from the get go.  This couple had exquisite taste all the way.  For the Ceremony we had Manzanita trees adorned with crystals on top of our custom made brown columns.  Next we turned to an elaborate reception with tables draped in chocolate brown and accented with sage green hydrangeas accompanied by votive candles and fresh rose petals.  If that wasn’t enough to wow their guests, we created an ultra cool lounge area for those guests who wanted a more intimate setting.  Five stars all the way!!!!

Contemporary and Elegant

Heather rocked out the ballroom in black & white.  She had a vision and we made it happen!  The room was draped in all white for an ultra clean look.  The aisle way had black fabric columns and to bring it all together the tables had black table clothes were topped off with centerpieces filled with beautiful white flowers and accented with long crystals.  Not a typical look for a wedding but it totally rocked giving the place the ultimate contemporary look.  Heather you were rockin!
